Cuero is operated by Aiden Sitati. Where this notice applies, Aiden Sitati is the data controller for the personal data described below and is responsible for deciding how and why that data is processed.

Cuero may collect:

• Account information such as your name and email address.
• Profile information you provide during onboarding.
• Content you submit to Cuero, including drafts and posts.
• Information generated through your use of the product, such as positioning sessions and saved results.
• Authentication and session information needed to operate your account securely.
• Billing and subscription information, handled through Paddle.
• Technical and security information necessary to operate and protect the service.

We use information to:

• Provide Cuero.
• Authenticate accounts.
• Process subscriptions and purchases.
• Provide positioning and writing functionality.
• Maintain account and position balances.
• Provide support.
• Maintain the security of the service.
• Diagnose operational problems.
• Improve the service.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the following, depending on the activity and on your location:

• Performance of a contract, to provide Cuero, operate your account, and process subscriptions and purchases.
• Legitimate interests, including security, fraud prevention, support, diagnosing problems, and improving the service.
• Legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and compliance record-keeping.
• Consent, where consent is required for a specific activity. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

Not every basis applies to every user or to every processing activity.

Cuero relies on service providers necessary to run the product:

• Supabase, for authentication and database infrastructure.
• Paddle, for payment processing.
• AI providers necessary to operate Cuero's AI functionality.
• X, for conversation and discovery data where applicable.

These providers process information only as needed for those functions.

You retain your rights in the content you submit. Cuero processes that content only as necessary to provide the service and operate your account.

Cuero takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect account and user information. No service can guarantee absolute security.

Information is retained as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and account records, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data where applicable.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request, where applicable:

• Access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion of your data.
• Portability of data you provided to us.
• Restriction of certain processing.
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdrawal of consent, where processing is based on consent.
• Complaint to your local supervisory or data protection authority.

Privacy and deletion requests can be made through the in-app support option available in your Cuero account. For purchase-related requests, you can also use the support process linked from your Paddle receipt.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current effective date is shown at the top of this page.
